Hello, Blisseekers! Today, we’re diving into a topic that’s been a game-changer in my life—being intentional. Intentionality isn’t just about setting goals or creating to-do lists. It’s about being deeply present with yourself, your body, and the world around you. If you’re craving deep intimacy, blissful experiences, and the transformative power of practices like Tantra, it all starts with intentionality. Without it, you’ll struggle to show up authentically in your life because too much other “stuff” gets in the way.
At its core, intentionality is about presence. It’s about slowing down and fully tuning into your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. When you start practicing this, you create the foundation of your everything—your values, integrity, and your authentic self. Without this presence, it’s hard to know who you are or what you truly want. Life becomes a whirlwind of distractions and external pressures, making it nearly impossible to connect with yourself and others on a deeper level.
This is where the magic of Tantra and deep intimacy comes into play. Many people think Tantra is just about sex or physical connection, but it’s so much more than that. Tantra is about presence—being fully in the moment with yourself and your partner, allowing for profound emotional and spiritual intimacy. However, if you aren’t able to be present with your own body, emotions, and thoughts, achieving this kind of connection becomes a real challenge. Everything starts with you—how you show up for yourself daily.
In my journey, I’ve come to realize that intentionality is the key to unlocking this presence. And today, I want to take a closer look at how I’ve applied this concept through my experiment with the carnivore diet. I know many people view carnivore as extreme, unsustainable, or even dangerous, and honestly, there’s some truth to that. But here’s the twist—what if the carnivore diet was less about restriction and more about discipline and understanding yourself on a deeper level?
When I started the carnivore diet, I wasn’t just looking to change my physical health; I was searching for a way to cultivate more presence and intentionality in my life. People often view strict diets as forms of restriction, but for me, this journey has been about discipline. Not in a punishing way, but in a way that creates structure, safety, and security for myself.
What if we looked at the carnivore diet as an elimination diet—a tool to help us remove distractions and excess noise so we can tune into our body’s signals more clearly? By intentionally stripping away the excess, I’ve been able to better understand my body’s needs and responses, making more aligned choices for my well-being.
In a way, it’s similar to how we approach our lives and relationships. When we remove the clutter—whether it’s emotional baggage, limiting beliefs, or unhealthy habits—we create space for freedom. Freedom to be who we truly are. Freedom to live intentionally. This isn’t about following a rigid set of rules but about building systems and structures that serve you, allowing you to thrive in a more authentic way.
Tips and Takeaways:
Practice Presence: Start by setting aside time each day to check in with yourself—whether through meditation, journaling, or simply sitting in silence. Tune into your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations.
Set Intentions, Not Just Goals: Think about the “why” behind your actions. Why are you choosing a certain lifestyle, practice, or relationship? Align your actions with your core values and desires.
Create Supportive Structures: Develop systems and routines that support your growth. This could be as simple as meal planning, setting boundaries, or creating a morning ritual that grounds you in the present moment.
Embrace Discipline for Freedom: Recognize that discipline doesn’t have to feel restrictive. When approached with intention, discipline creates a sense of security and freedom. It helps you feel in control of your choices, rather than reactive to external pressures.
Tune into Your Body’s Needs: Whether you’re trying out a new diet, exercise routine, or self-care practice, be intentional about listening to your body. It knows what it needs better than anyone else.
Intentionality is the foundation of a life well-lived. It’s not just about what you do but how and why you do it. When you commit to being present with yourself, your body, and your emotions, you unlock the door to deeper intimacy, joy, and freedom. So, ask yourself today—how can you be more intentional in your daily life? What small shifts can you make to show up for yourself fully? Remember, when you build a life on the foundation of intentionality, everything else falls into place.
